I wanted a phone that has a very good camera, a hardware that runs anything like a breeze and not too large to fit in my hand. Kept my eyes on Xperia Z1 Compact. And when Xperia Z1 compact came with an exchange offer, I happily exchanged my old Xperia U and got a satisfactory discount.

I bought a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact 3 weeks ago, and it is a great phone.
The only cons I experienced were-
1. The camera is not as good as Sony claims, and not even as good as one would think, for 20.7 MP it is not worth it to buy the phone for the camera.

2. The battery life. I have to charge it everyday. It takes about 1.5-2 hours to fully charge from 5% battery to 100%. And it lasts max 1 day.
