The GEL-LYTE III OG sneaker emerges once again with its original shape and tooling that it featured in the early 90s. Just like it did when it first hit the ground running, the shoe continues to sport bold color pops throughout the design. Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, the GEL-LYTE III silhouette incorporates a split-tongue application that initially debuted on the GEL-LD RACER shoe. The retro runner also features traditional materials, like the mesh and suede paneling on the upper, while the heel webbing remains intact on the heel. Additionally, the sneaker incorporates its signature GEL technology cushioning unit in the heel to improve shock absorption and help deliver lasting comfort.
