Summary of the Book
Aavarana has been one of the most famous and most debated books of its time. This historical novel talks about how India was subjected to rule by many a kingdom, including the Moguls, and how History has been manipulated due to politics in the present days. The erudite, well – read author has made a thorough research and study to bring out this book, as it needed to be full of facts and numbers and chronologies. The subjective eye of an author about some of the most controversial events in the history of mankind is very difficult to be maintained, but S. L. Bhyrappa has succeeded in bringing out his scholarly best in Aavarana. A must have for History aficionados. The most sensitive concepts are discussed in a detached sense of narration, which is Bhyrappa’s unparalleled genius.
