A solid pedagogical treatment gives the this book a good edge over
the same titled book by Erwin Kreyszig. Although this book has fewer editions than the former ,it has certainly cut inroads as the standard textbooks of advanced mathematics in the top universities in the US and India mainly because of lucidity and depth of the treatment. Great Book - Very well Delivered

A book that goes into engineering mathematics in detail, and introduces advanced topics more than adequately. Several examples, make it fun, useful and at the cost worth every penny. Great value for money. Some of the pages were folded for me, but i guess thats normal in huge books. Although it ll be better if flipkart can quickly check the books condition and then despatch the same.

Awesome book.. Must buy!

This book is one of the most useful books on the subject. The concepts are developed fluidly and it feels as if the author is right in front of you and teaching you! Problem sets are quite difficult but interesting. Delivery was prompt and book quality is good. Overall a fantastic book. Highly recommended for competitive exams like GATE etc!

Great reference text for students and researchers

Clear, concise, and easy to follow. The text is well planned and thoughtfully organised. More intuitive explanations can be seen in all sections, especially linear algebra, matrix algebra and partial differential equations. Grewal's text is a good one but is oriented towards spoon fed learning and for syllabus covering. Greenberg's text on the other hand is a great standard text for those who pursue mathematics on their own, especially computer science researchers. I'd definitely recommend it...
