Summary of the Book
1. Tintin in the Land of the Soviets
A young Belgian reporter called Tintin is sent to the Soviet Union to uncover the secrets of the Bolshevik government. Soon, Josef Stalin's government is out on the lookout for him and his little dog Snowy.
2. Tintin in the Congo
The second Tintin adventure sees Tintin and Snowy embark on an adventure into the Belgian Congo, where he is caught in the war between two tribes. But what Tintin finds is a criminal operation run by a man known only as A.C.
About Herge
Georges Prosper Remi, otherwise known by his pseudonym Herge, was a Belgian cartoonist. He is best known as the creator of Tintin, penning 23 books in the series. He was also behind Quick & Flupke and Jo, Zette and Jocko.
