Amazingly COOL!!!
I'm using this processor on a Gigabyte board and 2 GB Transcend RAM. I haven't seen CPU temperature goes above 28 C. when surfing, working with office documents and even playing videos.
3D Gaming is also fine (Sorry, Not for a Hard Core gamer). NFS Underground and Age Of Empire works just fine.
If you are building a home PC just go for it. System remains amazingly cool and has great value for money.

A beautiful mind!
Flipkart, you rock as always!
And the processor, it's powerful enough to run games like Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 if combined with ATI Radeon HD4250 (I am using the same), and it runs cool, never crossing 48 C.
I have built HTPC around this processor and with this price range it's a hot cake.

I am an average user most of the time i just surf the net, watch youtube, read office documents,large PDF files and watch movies (in 720 HD also).
So for no problem or lagging (Im also using EVM's 4GB ram).
Installed window 7, windowXP, Opensuse, kubuntu and PCBCD ( :P i'm a software engineer ). All runs very smoothly.
for a average home PC this processor is more then enough don't know why all the people want the latest and fastest processors although most of them just end up doing the sam...

Great Buy - At par with core i3 probably better
Got this great processor from flipkart along with a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Motherboard, G.Skill NT DDR3 4 GB RAM and a otac NVIDIA GeForce GT210 1 GB graphics card. Had an old cabinet and am still using an IDE Seagate HDD & an IDE DVD drive...

Best for performance at medium level gaming
I only what to say that I have seen my single core celeron ,core2 duo and i3 processors working at 48 to 62 Degrees but this one has beaten all of them up..
It works in range around 24 to 28degrees at idle state.
And works in range around 30 to 37degrees at 100% usage. May vary upon extra cabinet fans around.
It has equal performance like
Intel Core2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80GHz
and has very good money value if u buy :)
No issues so far...(handle it carefully) ESD sensitive device.

Top of the line Dual Core processor.
With Dual Core processors becoming dated, AMD Athlon II X2 Regor 3.2 GHz is one processors that bring dual core computing back to life. The frequency multiplier is locked, so it can be overclocked by changing bus speed only, and amazingly, it crossed the 4GHz mark. I run it at 3.7GHz and it's stable (overclocked with ASUS TurboKey). In case of single core performance, it outruns many newer processors.

Good budget processor with killer specs. My earlier intel c2d was noisy and slow and sluggish on multitasking like listening to music while some ofiicial work on MS office and opening more than 2-3 tabs on chrome but with this I'm able to open 10-15 tabs without any hiccup with other programs running at background! Gaming is great and much beteer in compare to c2d or i3 I have used at friend's place.

Ran games like bf3, gta4, nfs shift... etc
it runs fine in medium setting but show some lags in high but it Does the job.
(Recommend saving up for atleast processors like fx4100, using fx6100 right now).

Previously I had AMD Sempron. And now I am having this. Although I have not bought this from flipkart, but I would recommend this rather Intel Dual Core. I am not saying Intel is not good rather its the best, but an emerging Brand is AMD ahich you can trust. It is best compatible with ASUS AM3 motherboard. I am saying this because first of all its is cheap and then very hardy and has 3.1GHz which is best for entry level computer buyers. It has L2 cache which is not bad and moreover it consume...
