This book is an autobiography by US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. It was written with Scott McEwen and Jim DeFelice, and was a New York Times bestseller.

Summary of the Book

Chris Kyle was an American Navy SEAL who is known to be the deadliest marksman in the history of US military. Over 150 of his kills have been confirmed by the Pentagon, which is higher than the previous American record of 109. The man was highly feared and Iraqi insurgents placed a bounty on his head. Kyle has been of great help in protecting his fellow US warriors with his accuracy and skills in shooting. American Sniper is an account of his experiences as a soldier in the battlefield.

Chris Kyle was a US Naval SEAL who is known as the most lethal sniper in American military history. He has 160 confirmed kills to his credit out of 255 probable kills. He has served for four tours of the Iraq war and has won many awards for his acts of heroism and service.

Jim DeFelice has authored several military thrillers and many of them were bestsellers. He wrote the book Omar Bradley: General at War, Rogue Warrior series with Richard Marcinko, and the Dreamland series with Dale Brown.
