Let me Clear some of your doubt.

1. i have seen ipad pro 10.5 beside the ipad 2018, the screen is quite as good as the pro with slight less contrast in color and don't worry about the air gap of the screen. If you want the space grey version in which the air gap is unnoticeable. The screen is really good, don't worry about it.

2.i got it for 24900 instead of 23900 which is a rare but better offer, serial no. matches with the bill too. You can even get your insurance done from apple authori...
