I purchased this expensive product only because I was in the apple ecosystem and I wanted to use my Homepod as a TV speaker. It does the job well. Here are some pros and cons.
Pros:
1. We can use Homepod or Homepod mini as TV speaker
2. IPhone and Mac mirroring on the TV works well
3. All apps seem to work fine without issues
4. Remote is rechargeable and very comfortable to hold

1. Remote cannot be used as a game controller. This is very disappointing. The gyroscope facility was droppe...

Best for apple eco system.
If you have any other apple devices like iPhone or Mac or AirPods and all. No doubt to choose it. One of the best devices. Much better than other devices. Only issue I found is that it won’t auto switch between 5.1 and atmos. You have to manually change while playing the corresponding title. Lots of apps. Video calibration with iPhone. AirPods easy connection. I use it with 4k tv and Dolby atmos supported Sound bar.great overall experience

Perfect product!
It just integrated/blended in with Samsung crystal 4K tv. That I do not even need the Samsung remote anymore. It is amazing to have everything on the Apple TV remote and apple ecosystem is just flawless and buttery smooth as always. I had the Apple TV earlier version as well and that is placed in the living room. This little addition to other room has been Amazing. 5/5 to the Apple TV

A:Connect it to Dolby atmos Soundbar if it has 4k/Dolby pass through feature and then connect the Soundbar to tv. Otherwise connect it to the tv directly.
