About Alan Fletcher

Alan Fletcher was a British graphic designer. He was regarded by The Daily Telegraph as “the most highly regarded graphic designer of his generation, and probably the most prolific". He had founded a firm called ‘Fletcher/Forbes/Gill’ with Colin Forbes and Bob Gill in 1962. His publications include: Picturing and Poeting and Beware Wet Paint. His book, The Art of Looking Sideways, had taken him 18 years to finish.
