Its cool and yes it control temp. up to some extent.
But i feel price is little bit at higher side. Rest fan is very quite. RGB lightning is cool and u can stand your mobile too for movies etc. with the help of cooler.

dont go with the scrap negative reviews..this thing does the job perfectly
i continued playing 5 hours of pubg with x mode on.. battery consumption is affected at minor level and temperature did not cross 36 degrees after 5 hours which is excellent..and hehe i even charged the phone to full in that gap.. 4K may be pricy
and then you shouldn't be buying a gaming centric phone if you cannot accessories that drive them smooth.. totally worth it
