I bought this drive in my market. This is same as that of the
"Asus DRW-24B3ST Internal Optical Drive (Black)". The specs posted here dint include everything . prefer this. this is a best one out in the market

Usually you dont have much to write about a DVD R/W, this time I do. First the good side the device comes with Award winning Nero burner and another software where you can completly wipe date from a DVD or rewrite fresh again. Just like a HDD. The door doesnt slow. It shoots out. THe samsung/LG writers I had open slow and steady. However the opening mechanisms on them also failed very soon. So This time im trying ASUS.

The product was nice and it was delivered very quickly. Once again good service by Flipkart.
The device did work well and I had no problems till now. It burnt all the DVDs and CDs well without any issues.

No too much sound like other drives. Very smooth, its been an day and I am using it very sweetly.
Also I got an CD which includes Nero 10 & power2Go 7 for writing/burning DVD's & Cd's + Ehammer + E-green.
What else you need?
And off course awesome packing and delivery in no time from flipkart makes it more impressive.

when my samsung DVD combo drive got unistalled i was very much disappointed but this drive was just big and massive solution to all problems...............this drive is way better and way faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used 9 writers in the past 8 years of my life and 5 of them were LG and 2 were Samsung and 1 SONY and 1 HP.
But I have not received or seen such a magnificeint performance from any of them.. The LG ones were very Good writers. Compared to others. The worst ones were HP and SONY. They had too many issues regarding reading.
But ASUS has beaten them all.
The read speed is very fast, compared to the likes of LG even. Reads your DVD or CD in just fraction of a second. Which is in fact prio...

Useful, easy to use and easy to install product. Installed it myself, just opening the cabinet and tightening a few screws. Its worth the extra price that it carries. Could have got LG or Samsung for like 100-200 Rs less, but I am satisfied with this one as it is working perfectly fine.
Read and write speeds are quite impressive and responsiveness of the player when I enter the disc is remarkable.
Definitely a worth buy.

A good internal optical drive is hard to come by for some time now. Finally after waiting for more than an year I went ahead and got this. And I must say it was worth the wait. I've put it to test pretty rigorously and it handled it well. Kudos to ASUS for bringing out a good product.

Good and perfect item what i am looking for and flipkart is known for fast shipment. Need to observe for some more days to know exact performance.
