This is a much improved version of the old AC66u.. improved hardware, improved performance.. a real little powerhouse and value for money.. at sub 10K it is a steal for what it delivers..
The AIMesh functionality makes it more versatile..
A buy anyday for upto 2BHK homes.. and probably larger ones too based on the design of the home and positioning of the router..

Damn good and stable. Just that the boot time after a power on is a little slow. Very good router and offers stable and good speeds simultaneously at both frequencies

I am using this as an aimesh node with AC68u and works as intended. It reduces the speed though by 20%

I have a 100 mbps line and this this is a 1300mbps router i thought that i will get the same speed as the source. Distance between the nodes is 28 ft in the line of sight

writing this review after 2 months of use and I have to say it is an excellent product for its price the functionality and the feature set offered. The router has an excellent rage and provides a stable connection, you can set up multiple wifi networks, separate for your personal use and for guests which can be limited for the time duration and the speed as well, at both 2.4 GHz and 5ghz bandwidth.

Cons :
> Takes around 150 to 180 seconds to restart and hence UPS is must if u r using it for office purpose

I have an RT-AC68U configured as my primary router and this RT-AC66U configured in AiMesh mode. It's working well and now I am getting a stable connection and coverage in my entire house. Earlier with only the RT-AC68U, I used to get extremely low speed or disconnected when I went to the corners of my home. Comes with 3 years warranty. Decent vfm at 8k.

Decent router. Its is part of my aimesh, setup takes less than 5 mins.
