A week of using this laptop and....

After doing a great deal of research on laptops i decided to settle on something cheap, portable and most importantly durable.
Since reliability was a big concern for me after a few weeks of intensive digging i found out Asus makes the most reliable laptops.
I have never owned an ASUS product before, i owned to HP laptops and both of them failed on me. I found the x54c to be of a great price and config.
I received my laptop 2 days after booking it online. Flipkart's tracking was accurate an...

Review after 3 months of use.

This laptop is awesome. First time when i thought to buy this i was a bit confused about the keyboard. I am a fan of chicklet keyboards. Everything else was good. Know a little surprise here. Keyboard is awesome. Keyboard is comfortable. Super comfortable.
Now Lets come to other pros and cons.
Pros:
Ram: 2gb, obviously not enough, But at rs. 700, you can buy another one.
Budget: Price increased, when i bought it was 24860. It was the best deal, and cheapest i3 2nd gen.
Speed: Super cool. Wi...

bang for ur buck..

awesome laptop.. fast processing speed from i3 2ng gen.. nice sharp bright display.. fast booting time too.. asus software bundle with this packs very gud softwares..
only bad thing is speakers they are not loud enough but do their job.. install windows 7 64 bit and complete ur laptop.. if ur not going to do much of multitasking then 2gb ram is more than enough. but if ur interested in heavy multitasking then a upgrade to 4gb ram is recomended..
over all an outstanding value for money laptop..

Excellent laptop at the price

This is one of the few Intel New Generation Core i3 laptops under Rs 25,000 and it does offer good value for money. Other than the processor, it does have a good size (500 GB) hard drive, a 15.6" LED screen, good keyboard and excellent inbuilt features in terms of Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity, 4 in one card reader, Dual layer DVD Writer. The 2 GB RAM makes the laptop feel a little slow at times, and an upgrade to at least 4 GB is advisable. Overall, a good buy.

Flipkart's service, as usua...

A steal for the price; those looking for a netbook, do consider this

This is a very good laptop for the price. Yes, Ivy Bridge is out, but the i3's are coming much later this year. This laptop is good for most purposes: email, running Office, browsing the web, watching HD videos; and some basic video editing, just to name a few. The disappointment is that there are only two USB ports. Yes, one of them is USB 3.0, but being a 15.6" laptop, at least three USB ports ought to be present. Nowadays, netbooks based on the latest Intel Atom platform cost between 17-1...
