A nice, horror thriller

A very nice book. Good read with plenty of scary moments. The plot is good and the characters and the backdrop is eerie. I would recommend all horror fans to read this book.

Serves a good read

I was extremely curious to read this book owing to its abundant votes and positive reviews. I finished the book in less than three hours; and yes, It got me hooked to it! Don't get put off by the slow hackneyed start of the book. It takes off like a rocket after some 30-40 pages. I honestly feel that the book has few scenes that closely resemble those from well-known horror movies(whose names I don't wish to mention). IMHO, the climax could have been better.

P.S: If you are expecting this b...

ADDICTIVE!

Freaky. It kinda grips you... the synopsis got me... the cover bought me. And the ride was ON...

Narrative is strong. Suspense are many and I found this book as one of my finest emotional reads. I connected to my core.

Again, a great read and very well written... there were many a times where I couldn't put the damn thing down!

Truly a great weekend haunting!!

A good book by Akash Bansal. This is my first horror book by an Indian writer. I did not expect much. But i was flabbergasted after reading the first few pages of this book. The english is better than most of the British writers. The plot is an original. The protagonist has interesting things going around her. It was truly a great weekend haunting. A very good novel that teaches you good english and tells you a great story. It has got some amazing twists in the plot.

Surely, My beginning wa...

AOD is indeed A GREAT WEEKEND HAUNTING

AVENUE OF DEATH is an absolute experience in a diverse manner. The story starts with a frightening prologue and then score towards the entry of the main protagonist setting her foot in through the main gates of the University of Stanmore. The university is described so skillfully that one can actually draw the whole grand infra in the mind vividly . This marks the beginning of the story. The haunting appears in a series of interaction with the dark entities, shocks and unforeseen revelations....

Describes fear so much that it stops being scary!!

All I can say is horror does not always mean ghouls and zombies, which has been done to death in this novel (pun unintended). Every scene stretches a mile and every expression of fear is overdone. I guess I'm going against the tide by giving a ghastly review but its just an opinion.

GUD JOB

Thumps up to the writer.first of all story plot is gud, its having the ability to hold the reader. The way writer give twist and turns to the story, its really gud. This book having the ability to give you the goose bumps, once u start reading. although, climax could be better.

Gud work but scope of improvement is still there...... so keep on trying. :-)
