I'd asked my dermatologist years earlier when the bumpiness began what was it? She explained that as we age our skin loses it's ability to slough-off the old layers as it once did. I've waited a while to write this review because at the time I began using this Advanced Clinical's lotion I had also started a new vitamin supplement. I wasn't sure which one was responsible for incredible reaction with my skin. Well, after testing by stopping both products and then restarting with just this retinol lotion, I'm happy to report it was the lotion that gave the fantastic results!
