The author, Mr Shankar Jha, is a resident of Madhubani district of Bihar. He was born in July 1982.
He has been fond of writing short stories and poems since childhood, but due to lack of motivation and appreciation, he could not pursue it. However, his passion never died. He continued writing despite his academics and while continuing his service. Shankar would memorize very long poems since his school days. The great novelist Munshi Premchand had been the principal of his high school many decades ago, and this inspired him even more to write.
He is very sincere about military service, and he considers it to be his religion. He adopted this religion and faced all that makes a soldier live in our hearts.
The author wrote the book while observing life very closely, and it is very close to being a true story.
The author is active on Facebook under the name Shankar Jha. He also has a Facebook page called ‘Shankar Jha - The pen speaks louder than voice.’
