Bought this phone for husband a year back. I am not at all a BB fan but since he is, I had to buy this. So here is the list:
Pros:
good for BB fans.
very light weight... even with the battery.
Since it is touch and type, battery usage is good. Not too good like Nokia (well you cannot expect it with a smartphone :P ) but better than full touch screen.
Cons:
all the cons of having a BB :P
plus, I have seen the touch not responding a couple of times.
Once the phone automatically went into limbo ...

I have been using a blackbery for the past 1 and a half years, I started with a 9700 bold 2 and now I moved on to 9790. I dint buy this from flipkart but wanted to share my opinion with everyone. This is the 1st time I was not so happy with the product delivered by flipkart. I was very happy when I saw BB Bold 9790 was available. I have ordered and paid the amount on 25th April and delivery date was given 5th May. But it was delivered on 30th April.

I have been using Bold 9700 since last 2 years and was pretty much satisfied with the device. I upgarded the OS from 5 to OS 6 and except for low application memory nothing was wrong.
Bold 9790 has nothing exciting only upgrades i got are
Hindi text support on webpages
Incresed browser cache.
Sleek
Touchscreen
PROBLEMS
Hangs on wifi.
Headphone are toooooo bad.
No carry case.

Got this for my wife and its been over 6 months its in use. No complaints till now.

BB OS is awesome.

Speaking of hardware, keypad is smooth & touch screen is awesome.

Battery lasts enough for a day use with all the emails, facebook, whatsapp, BBM, & few other apps always up & running.
BBM hub works awesome.

Sometime busy symbol comes up and last for 20-30 secs. That's one -ve point I can think of right now.

Overall happy with purchase.

Awesome phone with a brilliant touch screen , the best keyboard and a fantastic camera paired with a great processor and brilliant display. Although not a phone for someone loving apps. Everything else is fantastic. EDGE , NFC , GPRS , 3G everything awesome and for me a yes-yes option as it contains brilliant browser too.

I bought this in an offer of Rs. 4499.
Previously i bought BB 9320 by Sept 2016. From that i become a crazy fan of BB mobiles esp. qwerty key board mobiles.

Pros:
1. Its matchless features (only felt by BB users)
2. Battery back up, one full charge lasts for 3 days
3. Inbuilt memory 8 GB
4. Has Compass, BB maps, Facebook, Twitter...
5. Other apps will also installed through BBM
6. Touch and qwerty key...

I bought this phone last month ....works great for me .. surprisingly the camera is outstanding ...the phone is very good with multitasking (1 ghz processor)... .the qwerty keypad is set nicely for fast texting ..

Before purchasing bb 9790, I went thru a whole range of technical reviews - flipkart- the mobile indian, uk /us based news, crackberry , cell stores and what not. I was too wary to choose a blackberry since I never used one. The trap of android and apps was huge, and samsung is roaring in its market.

Who would like and is RECOMMENDED MUST to choose BB:
