Amrit Mahto 'ojosh' is an Indian author, novelist, journalist and children book illustrator. He was born in Chhattisgarh on 17 july, 1969. He did his schooling from H.S.School Saragbundia, Korba and after matriculation in 1986, he completed for his degree at Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1991. Amrit Mahto is author of "Ek Onjara Pani" (a folklore) published in 2014 by Rajbhasha Ayog, Chhattisgarh, "Chhattisgarh ke adivasi aur unka ghotul" (a historical fiction) published in 2016 by Sanskriti Vibhag, Chhattisgarh and "British Bavandar aur Veernarayan Singh ka elan-e-jang" ( a historical novel) published in 2015 by Rajbhasha Ayog, Chhattisgarh, "Dandkaranya me naxali atank aur Salwa Judum" ( a historical fiction) is published in 2019 by Notion Press, New Delhi and now his latest theatre drama book "Chhote Sarkar" is about to come.
