This is somewhere close to a max cushion shoe and can be used for recovery runs. It's not the most reactive sole but is cushioned well. It is also not the softest max cushion shoes out there which works well for me because I'm a pretty heavy runner. Runs true to size and even the normal one has a slightly wider fit.
