  • Description

Jack London’s The Call of the Wild, White Fang and Other Stories is a collection of classic novellas and stories featuring animals.

    Summary of the Books

    Call of the Wild

Buck, a St. Bernard-Scotch Collie is whisked away from his ranch during the Klondike Gold Rush. Strong dogs have become a prized commodity, and soon, Buck finds himself a part of a group of snow dogs tasked with pulling sleighs full of gold. However, the huskies don’t welcome him, and he begins to feel the tug of his more feral nature.

    White Fang

A three-quarters wolf-dog hybrid begins its life in the wild, left alone with its mother as a lynx targets its father. The pup and its mother are taken in by a Native American who christens it White Fang. Soon, persecuted for his lupine nature, White Fang turns into a savage, ruthless beast, a deadly fighter.
