best carry around lens for canon
Bought this to replace my 18-55mm kit lens for my canon 550d... awesome diwali offer from flipkart and got it at 12000 rs off for 46k.
This is a near L quality carry around lens for canon crop sensors, covers a good range even at the wider end, awesome focussing with USM motor and ful time manual override..
Cons are it's a bit heavy and does not come with a lens hood, though 3rd party JJC hoods can be bought for 450 rs odd...
The best all purpose lens IMO.
