The Canon IXUS 285 HS Point and Shoot camera features 12x optical zoom capability range and a 20.2-megapixel CMOS sensor. The IXUS 285 HS enables you to shoot videos in Full HD and also zoom into details of buildings and breathtaking landscapes. Thanks to the Image Stabilization technology, camera shakes will be drastically reduced by automatic detection of motion.
The Story Highlight feature makes use of Canon’s original algorithm to create an album with a storyline from all the still images you’ve shot. You can create a movie of up to 2 - 3 minutes with the still images and movie snippets that you have shot in the Hybrid Auto mode. This feature also provides you with the option of selecting and adding music tracks from the existing built-in background music library.
Auto zoom detects and analyzes the scene and automatically adjusts zoom settings based on the number of faces in the scene. This ensures that proper framing is achieved in photos even if the person using the camera is unfamiliar with the nitty-gritty.
