Description
The A2200 belongs to the PowerShot point and shoot family of Canon digital cameras. This 14.1 megapixel camera uses 6.17 x 4.55 mm CCD sensor. Powered by DIGIC 4 image processor, the camera supports aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9. This Canon camera is capable of shooting HD videos.
Body
With weight of 135 g, the camera has dimension of 93.2 x 57.2 x 23.6 mm. The 2.7-inch TFT color display has wide viewing angle and resolution of 230,000 dot pixels. External memory can be added on this Canon camera through memory card such as SD, SDHC and SDHX, along with MultiMediaCard and MultiMediaCardplus. The A2200 comes with NB-8L Li-ion rechargeable battery, which can take up to 280 pictures in one charge.Performance
The lens included in this Canon camera has focal range of 5.0 - 20.0 mm and Aperture range of f/2.8 - f/5.9. The camera has 4x Optical and Digital zoom. The TTL Auto Focus system has range of 3 cm (Wide) and 80 cm (Tele).This PowerShot camera has Auto ISO sensitivity ranging from ISO 80 - 1600. The camera has total shutter speed range of 15 - 1/600 sec. The camera has built-in Flash with range of 30 cm - 4.0 m (W), 50 cm - 2.0 m (T).
Features and Connectivity
The A2200 has Smart Auto function, which selects the correct setting based on 32 predefined scenes. The camera also has 6 artistic creative filters. User can also use the Discreet mode, which disables the sound of camera, Flash and AF beam. Blur Reduction mode reduces the blur in the images.This point and shoot camera can record at a resolution of 1280 x 720 - 30 fps. The camera supports MOV movie format and JPEG image format. This Canon camera has Face recognition feature and Self timer can be set up at time duration of 2 or 10 sec. In Low Light mode and Blur Reduction mode the camera can take 2.7 shot per second. The camera has USB 2.0 connectivity option.

Great Camera from Canon
Its a great camera although my camera came with a small problem of auto-rotate sensor. Its auto-rotate works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't work. Well auto-rotate has nothing to do with image quality or video quality so I am happy with that.
Picture taken with this 14 MP camera are very sharp and clean. 720p HD video is also very clear and satisfactory. All in all camera satisfies with its great picture quality.

Very good point-and-shoot
Very good point and shoot camera with good, sharp and clean pictures. It comes with good range of presets and enough manual options (in respect of a P&S) for casual snappers. Only downside is that low light performance is low as I have seen in 3 other P&S from the same brand. All in all a true Canon. Highly recommended at 5k range.

Simply the Best
I purchased this product 10 days ago and after all analysis I found this is the best in its price range.Pic and video quality both are awesome.Specially the video

Good at that prize range
Its a very good camera at that prize range.
HOwever it demands good lighting condition.Infact u can have very good picture under sunny/bright weather. During low light its the opposite.
I will say that if you want a budget camera just go for it without second thought !!!!
