Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (English, Paperback, Williams Tennessee)
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a nicely tailored portrayal of family tensions and individuals who have only themselves to blame for their unhappy lives.
Summary of the Book
Big Daddy Pollitt is about to spend his sixty-fifth birthday and his two sons, Gooper and Brick, attend it. Gooper has come with his wife and children, and Brick, the drunkard, has come with his feisty wife, Maggie. As the day goes by, many unpleasant truths start to emerge. Greed, lies, jealousy and suppressed sexuality bring about tension in the atmosphere.
