Hi friends, I purchased this item in April 2013 at Aurangabad, MH. I satisfied with the fast service of Flipkart elogistic.
The product I got has a good quality of magnification , good focusing.
The moon looks beautiful. I tried to see Jupiter but I can not manage to see it clearly because of lot of shaking of hand held binocular. I suggest to have a heavy weight tripod.
It is a nice product.
Only one thing I does not like is a packaging of product during shipment. Product I got was not seal...

Fantastic binocular , long range binocular, can easily view crisp and sharp and magnified object at a distance of 5 km.

First off, these are quite big. Much bigger than your usual wildlife/nature binocs. These are specifically for astronomical viewing, and so have a large objective (70 mm) to gather light.

i have used it for 1 month and has made me experience superb .
near my house there is a eagle nest and i can clearly see them flying 100-150 feet above.
there are no issues withe the clarity.
overall it is a good product.

I dont know what people are expecting to see through telescopes or bins , let me clarify---- U surely cannot see the spectacular images u see on the internet or books!! but careful observation allows for varied uses... satellite tracking, irridium flares, Brighter DSO's , occasional bright comet etc. Amateur astronomers are more than pleased with these....(STARS WILL STILL APPEAR AS PIONTS OF LIGHT IN YOUR FOV)... correct ur expectations before stepping into visual astronomy.

Celestron Skymaster 15x70 is a pretty good companion if you are looking for a quick view of the sky. The magnification is superb and we were able to look at the beauty of the moon very closely and spot some couple of known stars. Can be used for both terrestrial usage and also for wild life spotting. Slightly heavy and need a tripod if you are planning to use it for long duration. i got celestron 15x70 skymaster today on flipkart. i already have nikon action 10x50. binocular. there is no great difference between the two. nikon 10x50 is handy, less weight, can be handled easily whereas celestron 15x70 is heavy, large, and tripod a must. if u are a bird watcher birds will move away before u mount 15x70 binoc on tripod. i feel it is better to have 10x50 binocs for birds watch and land scaping.there is slight difference in magnification when compared to 10x50 binocs. just ...

I ordered this model to observe close up views of planets & for spotting galaxies. Craters on the moon can be seen very clearly, but planets, galaxies, Star clusters, etc appear only as bright dots. One will not be able to see absolute details, such as the big red eye on the Jupiter, but the four moons of the Jupiter can be easily seen (and it is quite a big deal).

These are really big binoculars and need use with tripod. I had already ordered once. Good quality optics. Fortunately well aligned as well which was my biggest concern based on other reviews. Tripod adapter was also good enough for me.

I had a chance to use this in two occasion so far. Fits very well on tripod easily with adapter.
