Keeping the test strip open for a long time before the test: The test strip should be taken out of the cover only before the test. You should open the package 5 minutes before doing the test in order to prevent false results. Improper handling of test device: Avoid touching the membranous strip of the device located near the markings given as C, T and S, because the foreign particles on the hands may interact with the strip and forms indent lines resulting in false results. Too early testing: You should perform the test on or after the first day of missed periods. F you perform the test early then you may get false negative results. Performing the test under breeze of air: The air breeze may quickly dry the sample and may not give accurate test results. So, you should avoid doing the test near an air cooler, table fan, window or under a ceiling fan. Time of conducting pregnancy test: You should do the pregnancy test in the early morning hours because the morning first sample contains high concentration of hCG hormone. Improper sample collection: First morning urine sample should be collected in a neat, clean and dry container to prevent the interaction with test results. A dropper should be used for sampling the urine and ensure proper saturation of the sampling area for most sensitive and accurate results. Avoid over saturating the sampling area on the strip. Delay in observing the results: Reaction time of Clear & Sure is 5 minutes. Therefore, you should read the test results within 5 minutes of after placing the urine sample in the vent.
