All Round Performer!
I bought this earphone after doing 3 days of extensive research over internet for the earphone under the price range of Rs. 1200/-
Earphones I compared it with:
1. Sennheiser CX 180
(Very good Mids and High, but lacks bit on lows (Bass) also do not have mic and remote)
I used this earphone approx. 2 months before.
2. SoundMagic ES18
(Very Good performance as far as lows (Bass) are concerned, but lack in Highs (Treble) also very fragile and build quality is not up to the mark)

For acoustics and the high's.
No burn-in, used it for 4 hours.
Things you should consider :
-Comparing it to CX180, and JBL Tempo, these perform way better in mid's and high's.
-Cowon, is a South Korean giant, you bet the quality is good.
-They look good.
-Flat, tangle-free wired.
-These buds perform bad for the low (the bass) frequencies, it is very clear(there is no distortion at max output), but it is low.
-The mid's and high's are so good that they compensate for the average low's

The silent winner
As my title suggest, this one wins being so silent. Yes its not popular, yes its not a trust worthy brand but why did I give it a go? Maybe cos I am fed up with brands offering cheap and worthless items at high price. So.. there I was. Did a purchase of this headphones. Got red one :D Looks kinda outta place but damn funky! :D

Amazing quality at decent pricing!
Cowon EM1 headset is one of the best headset available at this price range, due to 3 factors:
1. Audio quality
2. Mic
3. Tangle-free wires
I've fallen in love in love with the EM1's audio. As an audiophile I find that its audio quality is amazing and the bass response is unbelievable. The treble is also well balanced. Worth it!
After a lot of review reading and surfing through different products i decided to go for Cowon. I did call flipkart to inquire about the product and the concerned person helped to a great extent so that i can narrow down to this headset.
About the product, its just the perfect one around Rs. 1000..... especially for bass lovers. The clarity and the feel is just amazing. I use iPhone 4s and its just awesome with the phone. Works fine for calls as well as music.

Being a fan of Creative EP630 headphones, here is why i opted for EM1 instead of EP630
Pros wen compared to EP630.
1. Build quality of cable is strong in EM1 cmpared to ep630 thin nd delicate cable.(which phases out in 6-8mnths if you use daily).
2. Mic/Remote functionality. I loved this feature as i can use this remote for my Nexus as well as my ipod nano to pause nd forward songs. This is not available in EP630.
3. Hassle free flat cable.

Needed a headphone that I can wear effortlessly during city commute. I lost my skullcandy headphones some weeks back. Great Build, Balanced Sound
The product was sent in a good packaging (Even shipped within 4 hours by the seller CowonIndia) with 2 additional sets of ear-buds. Cowon being one of the premium brands in personal audio segment (not many people know, they were already there when the iPod exploded), doesn't disappoint with this product.
