Excellent text book with excellent understanding of concepts
Terms and concepts are very well explained but yes it took me a lot of time to read the text book. I guess the somebody with no Philosophy background and not willing to explore the western thought will fail to appreciate the work of the Author as the ratings suggest. Probably best text book available for Western Philosophy till modern times which costs such a low. Such a good text at such a low price in not available for Contemporary Western Philosophy. A:Yes. Chapter 1- Greek philosophy(pre-Socratic). Chapter 2- The Sophists, Plato, Aristotle. Chapt 3- Semi Socratic and Greco-Roman Ethics.To sum up, it pretty much covers the whole of Greek philosophy.
