I ordered this for my friends laptop which is almost 8 years old. Laptop has i3 3rd generation CPU with 2GB of Ram. I increased the Ram by 4GB and upgraded the HDD with this SSD and now it runs far better than a i5 5th gen lappy.
Hardly 8 seconds to boot into windows login screen...amazing

I usually don't write reviews but for this product, it's worth having one, a really nice product of crucial SSD I have just upgraded my old laptop, more than ten years old and it is a Lenovo t410. with crucial mx500, 500 GB SSD and 8 GB DDR 3 1600 MHz ram (4*4)of crucial It's pasia vasul item . one must consider upgrading to give new life. and new life means new life ... my lappy is now rocket in terms of performance ... plz do consider to buy above upgrades from the same seller as well, good...

Bagged this 500GB variant for Rs.4196, nice and perfect delivery by Flipkart as usual.
After 2 days of use below are my observation
No heat and noise even 12 hrs.of continuous use
Very fast in copy n paste, read n write
Built quality is very good
Windows 11 takes only 15 sec. to start on my 6years old i3 4th Gen desktop
So, I am happy to rate it 5 out of 5

At first I was nervous about the product as it was bit expensive for me, and even wanted to cancel my order, but, I ordered it and I was shocked to see the drastic improvement that this little product made. Don't think too much just go for it. It has DRAM 6 6/s, 550 MB read write speed. What else do you want. But don't go for BX500 just buy this Crucial MX500. Crucial MX500 is best among all the crucial and other SSD.

Good product to go.. its cheaper than samsung... in real world usage we won't be able to see the difference between the brands..it just matter of SSd vs HDd...
Previously booting time was 2 to 3 min..and app opening was slow...
After putting this crucial mx500 boot time is just 15 to 20 seconds
10X faster than earlier... Loved to replace it..
