This book is very easy to read, the demographics are cleverly designed to ease up the understanding. Contains a lot of solved examples and numericals. Algorithms are clearly written and easy to understand.I highly recommend this book for starters in Network Security.

Wonderfully explains concepts of number theory basics and gradually moves on to the depth of cryptography. Perfect for a UG course on network security and/or cryptography.

I think this is the best book on cryptography, far better than William Stallings's Cryptography book. Stallings writes in very complicated style, Forozan writes simple and all things very clearly.

A must for cryptography professionals. nice coverage of symmetric key and public key cryptography, Hashing techniques. text is well supplemented by figures /pictures to illustrate the concept.

However when I checked inside, it was third edition of the book. However since the contents were same as second edition I further didn't check the price of 3rd edition book.
