    Not For UPSC !!!!!

This is not at all recommended for UPSC aspirants. Go for, Nitin Singhania's culture notes / ausaf sayeed / spectrum, as these are written from exam point of view, not from academic point of view. High level of english language, boring style of representation, no pictures, no points.

It is a high level PhD research book, not at all meant for UPSC.

I had purchased it for studying the Indian arts part of the paper 1. Instead of relieving me from the stress, it added to my misery. High level of language coupled up with research based orientation has made me suggest that it need not be used for UPSC. Use Indian Arts by Spectrum books.
