1) Touch is very smooth
2) Windows 8 works great with touchscreen. i would say if you want windows8 you should go for touchscreen
3) Awesome configuration at great price. I got it for 38K at flipkart.
4) great looks
5) No noise and no heating problem
6) great battery backup of more than 5 hours

cons:
1) slightly heavy
2) touch display gets finger marks which is some times irritating.
3) speaker sound could have been better.

I purchased this laptop from flipkart at 38000.
I have been using it from the past one week, and I must say I am impressed.

PROS :

1) Excellent touch experience.
2) Amazing sound, both in speakera and head phones.

CONS :

1) The laptop is a finger print magnet. Not just the screen,the whole body ! Wherever you touch the laptop,you leave an impression of your fingers.
2) Build quality is okay,but not very good.

The machine is every thing I expected. The touch screen display is awesome it feels like a iPad computer combination windows 8 is easy to use.(just got to play around with it a bit to get used to it) there is an option to go back to windows 7 but that's ridiculous. Delivery was before time which has become a standard by Flipkart. Kudos to the team.
The Inspiron 3521 per se is a delight. Great value for money. It has proved to be the right product I intended to buy in terms of Screen Size, weight, resolution , power back up & percieved quality.

The windows 8 though may have compatiability issues with your existing hardware & drivers like data card/printers etc. Also the quality & utility of the Dell laptop bag could have been a notch up.
