Synopsis and Features

Colin McRae Rally series turned DiRT into a simulation racing game where each car was built and handled with in-game physics that mimicked real-life cars. Developed by Codemasters Southam and published by Codemasters, Showdown brings a fresh perspective to the DiRT series. The single-player events in the series include Hoonigan events where you can play cars with maximum precision. Licensed cars are included in these events if you like playing cars that mimic their real-life counterparts.

The other events in the game include Smash Hunter where roads are created in such a manner that you have to take delicate turns and drive with tight drifts to get a high score on the board. Trick Rush events allow you to make doughnuts on roads. The star event in the game includes the Gymkhana event which features the famous race driver Ken Block as you race against him to prove your worth.

Online Features

There are other events in the game that include Demolition and Party where you can race against AI. If you like playing games with friends on a single screen then this game will be a delight as it features a split-screen multiplayer. This events are especially fun as you can see your enemies car crumble into a million pieces right in front of your eyes.
