Well written and easy to understand.

The book is well written and explains the concepts very well with good examples. Good book for students who are studying Distributed Systems as a course. Each chapter is very lengthy to read. The author elaborates each point so that you'll understand why it is done so. There are lots of points, sub-points, sub-sub-points etc which might be little confusing at times because you'll forget the main point from which you started.
This book was available only in Flipkart when no other book shop had...

very poor print quality by pearson.... worst pearson product.

This book is the prescribed one top universities for first level learning of distributing computing. But the problem with delivered book is that
    1) print quality is very poor
    2) Font size is very small . You will not feel comfortable reading.... terrible experience

Pearson should stop printing this nonsense quality of books in the name of Subcontinent edition.

Better grab the pdf version and use for reference .. if you want any chapter take print outs.

The rating is for quality of book.
