Edifier M1380 2.1 Multimedia Speakers  (Black, 2.1 Channel)

To start with, these babies look damn cool on my study. Sound reproduction is very nice till you keep the volume up to 80%. Treble and bass is well balanced. EDM sounds best in these ones.

1) Price: Most products, if you compared price across US/UK/Singapore and India, the price will be in bit higher side by atleast 1000rs.. But this is not so. First Bonus. This one is around 45$ in US (forest - A ) , compared to 2.5k here.
2) Edifier: Brand is just growing(almost grown in other nations), gaining reputation in India(but already having in other nations), its clearly much better company than creative or F&D or IBall. But its alien to India till last year.
3) Features: Basic, not...

About the speakers..
Elegant looks, good finish.
Sound quality is good and balanced.
Bass is decent but cracks a bit while playing rock or old hindi songs at higher volume, better set the bass level below 70%.
overall very nice buy at this price. but, looking for thumping bass look somewhere else.

I am really satisfied with this product after 6 month of usage.
Pros:
1. Woofer case made of wood for better sound reproduction
2. Good bass and clarity
3. Remote
4. Price.

Cons:
1. Wires to be connected are by side wall (usually backside)
2. Would be great if was provided with a inbuilt mic.

For best results use the set with Viper's audio software (freeware).

Though I've bought quite a few speakers before, this one is perfect in this range. Theoretically it covers the whole audio spectrum of human ears. And I'm surprised that it complies with what its specifications say.
Pros:
- No distortion at full volume. And I guarantee you that you would never want to go to the peak volume if you are using it in home.

As very good set of speakers. It is a nice buy in the price range, I was searching for a good set of 2.1 speakers which can be used in office without compromising on quality. I did reasearch on speakers and found that speakers with SNR ratio of 85db provides good quality and ones with higher SNR of 90-100 would be great but they do not come cheap.
