Bought This speakers from SP road, Previously was using creative 4.1 speakers sold it due to dirty bass, bought logitech X540 5.1 speakers satisfied with the movie effects but the bass was not much, This Edifier S550 has the tighted Bass which u will see in a dedicated Home theaters and u cant expect the same in any active subwoofers which comes under 18k. Once u check the subwoofer size u will start loving it.
Im a movie freak and this produces the best & tight bass response.

I was unaware of Edifier company until I was searching for the replacement for Logitec Z5500. I am a huge fan of Logitech speakers, in India all are going behind Creative ( its also a good value for money product, but so much of blind supporters )

I got it for 25k a Year ago from Ebay. Best speaker set that money can buy. If you're using it with PC add Asus XONAR D2X to get the Full power of this system. And of course if you increase the volume to 50 your neighbors will come and fight.
