Perhaps one of the most popular Action based Role Playing games ever made by Bethesda Softworks has to be The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The game has been developed by Bethesda Game Studios and is the fifth installment in the Elder Scrolls series. The Xbox 360 game is purely a Single Player experience with a PEGI rating of 18 for strong language, simulated violence and suggestive themes.
The Skyrim version of the Elder Scrolls takes place two centuries after the events of Oblivion, where the protagonist must stop an ancient dragon God, prophesized to be the destroyer of the world. You get to choose what character you set for yourself as well as sorting through all the spells and abilities that can be your strengths. The game can adapt to the kind of character you play, allowing for defining moments and morality markers. What you do will affect you within the game, if not sooner, then later on during story progression. This will make players think twice before jumping to conclusions and hasty decisions. You can battle ancient dragons and learn their secrets as well as harness their power for your own tasks. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a great title for RPG fans and also for fans of the series.

Never have I seen anything this huge and wide with endless possibilities. May be, Elder scroll VI can redo what this game has done to the world.
I have spent more than 150 hours into this game and its like I have just started playing. There are many many many many many more quests that are yet to be completed.
