Body

The Stylus TX121 has dimensions of 436 x 150 x 304 mm and weighs 3.9 kg, making it a lightweight compact printer. The vertical surfaces of the Stylus TX121 all-in-one printer has glossy finish while the top panels have matte finish. The Flatbed scanner is tucked under a covering lid. The control panel is located on the right of the top panel. There are four control buttons - one Power On/Off button, Cancel Button that also cleans the print head if pressed for 3 seconds, and two buttons for colour and monochrome prints. If the two print buttons are pressed simultaneously, the Epson Stylus printer will multi-copies of the material placed on the scanner.

The Input tray slides into and seamlessly merges in to the rear of the Epson printer. This slide-out input tray can hold up to 100 standard size sheets. The output tray opens down in the front of the printer and can accommodate up to 50 sheets. The Cartridge dock access is located beneath an access door that is tucked under the scanner lid on the right side of the printer. Once the cartridge is installed, printer installation is easy. The cartridges that come with the printer can print 3 to 5 pages. The power socket and the USB 2.0 socket are placed at the rear of the Stylus TX121 printer. Print on variety of paper media with sizes that include A4, A5, A6 and B5.

Performance

For draft monochrome prints, the Stylus printer has a speed of up to 28 ppm (pages per minute) while for draft colour prints, this Epson TX121 colour printer has a maximum output speed of 15 ppm. Using Variable Sized Droplet Technology, the Epson Stylus TX121 inkjet printer can print with a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi.

The Flatbed CIS (Contact image Sensor) scanner housed in this all-in-one printer is capable of an optical scan resolution of up to 600 dpi with bit depth of 48/24 bits for colour and 16/1 bits for monochrome prints.
