This foundation is water based, quite lite in coverage and gives seamless finish, it's almost like Mac face and body foundation. I wear this foundation everyday. But if you want full coverage foundation and matte finish then this isn't for you. Coming to how it performs on face, it evens out my complexion and minimally hides redness, thought it doesn't cover my acne spots I still reach out to this foundation everyday because I don't like heavy and full coverage feel on my face

Not exactly waterproof but it's the most light weight &thin consistency I've ever come across. It's almost like a tinted moisturizer. I would recommend to get two different shades one light and another dark as the shade range is very limited
