Q:It is RO or only filter?

A:It's only UF UV filter, though it works with TDS of 500 max it does not reduce the TDS level.

Q:Is it useful for bore water ?

A:pls check the TDS of water. bore water if less than 180 then you can use. If higher than 200 then this filter may not fit. Go for RO.
