Summary Of The Book

At the heart of the book, Fairy Tail, Volume 1, lies the adorable character of Lucy Heartfilia, whose desire to join the Fairy Tail, plunge her into a whole new world of adventure. Fairy Tail is basically a club that houses a host of powerful wizards. So strong, her desires were that she ran away from home only to fall prey to a renegade wizard who abducts her on her way. Lucy’s desire to join the Fairy Tail and her abduction are the harbinger of the subsequent events that takes place in the book. Who will come to rescue her?

Fairy Tail, Volume 1 introduces us to the main characters and to the imaginary world where every character has a unique magical skill endowed. As we start reading the book we get completely transformed to another world far from this world of reality. We get to meet Natsu whom Lucy befriends while on her way to the Fairy Tail and on whom she piles her hope of being her saviour when she is abducted. Other characters we meet as we start going deeper into the book are Gray Fullbuster who is an ice wizard, Erza Scarlet an armoured clad wizard, Juvia Lockser who is a water wizard, and Gajeel Redfox and Wendy Marvell who are both dragon slayers etc.

The book is loaded with scenes of actions, twists and turns, and is thoroughly an adventure packed oriented series. The world of the book is inhabited by wizards, womanizers, drinkers, magical towns and shops. Each character is portrayed differently and in a distinctive style. The magical world has been painstakingly and beautifully drawn. The cute characters are a wonder to read and so is their course of actions in the book. The memories of the characters will be forever etched in your mind. Another distinctive feature of the book is the sense of humor which is profuse.

The chapters of Fairy Tail have been adapted into an anime series by A-1 Pictures and Satelight. Till date the series has aired 174 episodes. There were also four original video animations of it, produced by A-1 Picture and Satellite. An anime film adaptation of Fairy Tail has also been adapted and released in the year 2012. The anime film was titled Fairy Tail the Movie: The Phoenix Priestess. Apart from this, video games and music on Fairy Tail were also unveiled.
