Fixderma Shadow SPF 30+ Gel is an ideal formulation for oily and acne prone skin. Chemical UV absorbers are generally oily in nature which makes the formulation tacky and greasy. When it comes to oily skin, a broad-spectrum gel SPF is ideal. A mixture of both physical and chemical based sun protectors, it gives a complete coverage without imparting any bad appearance to the skin. The formulation is completely non-comedogenic. To achieve a complete UVA &UVB coverage, a mixture of Physical blockers and chemicals absorbers is the ideal sunscreen formulation. The best topical form which suits every skin type is a gel form. It do not block the skin pores which makes it a good option for acne prone skin. It contains Zinc oxide that work by scattering the sun’s rays, which prevents potentially damaging ultraviolet radiation from getting to the skin. The finely powdered mineral formula used in sunscreen does two things—reflect and absorb. Benzophenone-4 is quite effective in not only filtering out UV rays but also preventing other ingredients from being degraded by the sun. It does not penetrate the skin to a large degree but allows for other ingredients to do so.
