it's advisable only where people can provide cross ventilation.
It should be kept near an open window and there should be window or an open door at the other side for hot and humid air to pass out .
if no ventilation is provided it won't be effective since it increases humidity in the room.
one of the biggest pros is that they have provided honeycomb cooling pad insteadn off cheap wood wool like many top brands are giving in this price range.
