Geronimo Stilton: The Hunt for the Golden Book brings children’s favorite mouse character, Geronimo Stilton back in action. This time round, Grandfather Williams is throwing Geronimo a party for publishing books for 10 years. But Grandfather Williams had only one request, he wanted Geronimo to write a book especially for this occasion. Geronimo somehow managed to complete writing the book, and just when he was about to send it to the printer, his computer got stolen. Now it was up to Geronimo and his friend’s to find his missing computer and print the new book and all this just in time for the party.

Geronimo Stilton: The Hunt for the Golden Book is accompanied by an extra Mini Mystery adventure, The Lake Monster. A few people on Mouse Island spot a mysterious monster in a lake. Geronimo Stilton is called in to investigate and find out the truth behind the lake monster.

Geronimo Stilton, a talking mouse, is a best-selling author living in New Mouse City. He works as a journalist and editor for The Rodent’s Gazette. In his spare time, Geronimo enjoys collecting antique cheese rinds, playing golf, and telling stories to his nephew Benjamin.

Geronimo Stilton was created by Elisabetta Dami and popularized in a series of novels published by Edizioni Piemme of Milan, Italy. Since the character’s conception, many writers have continued the series.
