I always go for specification before brand name as an Engineer. This mother board is having Dolby Home Theater Sound Hardware on board upto 7.1 (I am using 5.1 only), very few of us knows this fact. It is a great motherboard in its range. I am using it with AMD Am3 FX 4100 processor and 4 gb RAM. I could boot the system in less than half a minute and the system shuts down within 10 seconds (I am running Kubuntu 12.04) currently. It has got plenty of ports (including USB 3 and HDMI). I did purchase this motherboard from flipkart, i purchased it from a store.

My MB works fine for 4 months after that MB not working even CPU.
I replaced those, but after 2-3 month my cpu cooler fan goes off.
I thought that again cpu is gone or fan is gone, but after testing on other MB i sured that my MB is not right.

I giving Two star for superior quality Dolby Sound and performance.

I am informing to ALL THE BUYERS DON"T BUY THIS MB.
I wasting my money on this motherboard.

over all motherboard is good but beware it does not support am3+ socket fully
ive amd fx 8120 8 core processor which is 3.xGhz the processor works fine but speed is slow, in this mother board it shows 2.8GHz and the official indian gigabyte customer care not bother to reply my email

Dear Ritesh .. if you are using a bulldozer u are gonna suck bad .. as beacause bulldozer is a kickass cpu in compaired to amds old phenom 2 editions ..

i use This mobo and a 980BE edition cpu . its a killer for both gaming and video editing . and you will need a cooler for long term use .. and for ubuntu . bulldozer is crappy . i suppose u choose the wrong cpu for the board ..
