Just got this book delivered yesterday! Already studied "Barron's New GRE 2013" and other web resources for GRE preparation it was easy for me to compare and identify usefulness of this book. I would recommended anyone to buy this book as a "must have" for GRE preparation for two main reasons:

A great book to quickly go through all the types of questions and scoring tips. A must have if time is against you. I bought this book recently and found it really helpful to begin with. But it not a complete book if you aim to score high. It tends to skip over many details and these things are very crucial for a good score.

The book is good for practicing for the exam. But those who want to purchase it for the computer based test CD, like me, as in for a disappointment. The CD links to the ets website to provides the same question papers through PowerPrep II which are already available free on their website.

This is the best practice book for GRE in the market. It comes straight from ETS, and has original GRE questions. The CD is having the PowerPrep II software, which you already get for free on registering for the test. Combine this book with PowerPrep & a good word-list, and you are ready to ace the exam.

It provides all the information related to the test, with in-depth analysis on how to write the answers particularly in the essay section, that can fectch you more marks. Its a good book if you want to start preparing for GRE. You can start with this and then move on to other books and notes. But you can't just reply on this book to clear your GRE with a good score. You can give it try.

It can be very useful for those who are beginner for GRE.

If you are preparing for GRE, this should be your first book on the cards. It has all the essentials answering what,why,how. The book although contains useful information, lacks strategies that could be used to tackle the questions. You should go for materials from Princeton or Manhattan for exercises and strategies. The quality of paper is unquestionable at this cost. There are two authentic GRE tests which I feel are the ones which resemble the most with the actual test.
