About Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde was an Irish writer and poet. He had written in different forms in the 1880s and went on to be one of London’s most popular playwrights. He is remembered for his novel, epigrams, plays, his imprisonment and early death. He became fluent with German and French very early in life. His novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray, is one of his popular works and remains so even today. The novel incorporates themes of decadence, duplicity and beauty.
