1GHz Processor, ARM Cortex-A8, High Performance low power CPU and android lovely combination I've purchased HCL ME X1 recently. Here are my few observations on the product's features & performance. 1. Battery life is very less, apprx 2.5 - 3 hrs (working on wifi applications) 2. U get 1gz processor & captive touch screen.

Cons:
instead of Android market , u get MeApp shortcut that goes to what HCL offers.
Camera is a bit low resoltuion.

DOES NOT HAVE SIM SLOT, CANT MAKE PHONE CALLS WITH IT.

low budget android tablet
for all those people who have been ranting on and on about how bad the Hcl tablet is i would like to totally disagree. firstly its a steal for that price. It might not be as brilliant as ipad or samsung tab. but at its throw away price its a steal.i am quite happy with the hcl tablet and flipkart rocks

got this in the month of dec 2012 battery back is not good and the adapter stopped working after two months, dont know does the adapter has the warranty or not. its also a heavy one cant hold it for long

1)camera is useless
2)Not all android market application is supported by it
3)Not able to find how they claims 4GB internal memory. I am not able to see it in it. (May be i am not able know how to check it in android.)

I Got this tablet through Flipkart.I admire their excellent service. As far as the HCL Me X1 is concerned it has all the things that a tablet on this price range can have. The processor is good so is the ease to use..thanks to Android 2.3 OS. Didn't expect much on this price range, however the absence of android market and a separate SIM slot are the most serious omissions. Touch some times gets clumsy especially the ginger keyboard. Wi-fi signals become faint most of the times.But a good too...

Bad company, bad product!!!
A lot of complaints like poor battery backup, network issues, most apps dont even run on it.
With all bad experience i had, all i have to say is.......
Please dont even think of buying an HCL product.
