Good Original product with 3 years warranty
Good original product. I checked the serial no on the product at the Hitachi website. It was genuine and had a 3 years valid warranty. Hitachi HDD is the only available brand in India with 3 years warranty, all others provide a 1-2 years warranty (at the moment of writing this revew). The HDD fits seamlessly to any laptop, i tried with three different laptops of different brands including one Acer netbook. Hitachi also has the least failure rate in HDD as compared to other brands like Seagate...

Q:what is the date of MFG of this product? Because the picture showing very old date of MFG..if the shown date is the product's MFG, the warranty period is about to end with in one year..kindly reply.
A:There is no mention that warranty of the product is for three years.
